What do Michelangelo, Jonas Salk, Madeline L'Engle and countless other creative people have in common? Keeping journals to track their thinking as they capture and develop ideas. Using writing to explore issues and invite insights.

Drawing on her decades of experience as a journal keeper and workshop leader, Alison Strickland will offer you writing strategies for getting unstuck, clarifying issues, making new connections, tapping intuition and developing ideas. From there you'll learn how to use what you've written to track your creative projects, foster your growth and create new writing.

In the process you'll discover insights and develop strategies that will enhance your creativity for a lifetime. Writing Place Workshops become learning communities where people can offer one another the gift of encouragement and support as they grow together.

The Writing Place Workshop is based on the book, Harvesting your Journals by Alison Strickland and Rosie Deer Heart and is a weekend experience. Registration is limited to allow for individualized instruction.
