Bet your English teacher never told you that the time honored poet's tool is also the best creative thinker's tool because it carries the power of discovery and change. In this highly experiential session you will learn how to use metaphor to help you: Clarify confusing issues and puzzling problems Discover new possibilities and hidden opportunities Stimulate novel ideas Communicate ideas across disciplines and within cross-functional teams Clarify and communicate vision and purpose Oftentimes, one of the greatest difficulties in picturing the future is finding words to describe it. A metaphor based on something tangible and familiar can help describe something that is intangible and unfamiliar. Metaphorically Thinking is a half-day workshop.
