Imagine your next meeting, workshop or conference beginning with everyone involved, having fun and learning at the same time? The Brain Game Seminar will get people on their feet, talking with one another and discovering mental diversity in action.

Then people discuss the exercises to help them appreciate the rich differences in the ways people think. That leads to a greater understanding of mental diversity and ways to prevent misunderstanding and conflict.

Learning to appreciate and value differences is one of the critical issues facing us all in the new century. Cisco Systems, a key player in the Internet explosion, runs a TV ad showing children from around the globe asking one another, "Are you ready?"

The answer to that question is clearly no. Our planet may be wired, but we don't know how to communicate clearly and work smoothly with one another. In order to do business in a global marketplace, we must figure out how to effectively and ethically connect with others who see things differently.

That's the core concept of The Brain Game Seminar-understanding mental diversity and using those differences to solve perplexing problems more effectively than we could if everyone thought alike.

   What's The Brain Game?
An interactive card game that any size group can play.

People begin the game with five randomly distributed cards. Through a series of interactive activities players trade cards until they get those which best describe them.

Then the chosen cards are placed on a special display system so that everyone can see them. A color-coded system highlights the different thinking styles prevalent in the group. That allows groups to look at their mandate and determine their strengths and potential blind spots as they move toward their goals.

After people have played the game, a fast paced presentation explains the whole brain model upon which the game is based. Each mode of thinking is illustrated with memorable stories and examples of people who "live" in each quadrant of the whole brain model.

   Why Play The Brain Game?

   Your group can:

Experience the rich diversity of different thinking style preferences

Interact with those who think as they do and those who view the world from a different mental perspective

Share common experiences that break down differences and increase understanding

Understand their preferred modes of thinking and those of others

Realize that different thinking styles aren't right or wrong-they're a rich source of synergistic energy that can increase the probability of success

Have a great time while they learn

What's The Brain Game Got to do with Creativity and Innovation?

To be more creative and innovative, we must think differently- individually and collectively. Understanding mental diversity helps us do that.

First you must understand and appreciate your own strengths and blind spots. Then you can purposefully use your gifts to compensate for blind spots.

Next you must understand and appreciate the strengths and blind spots of others. Then when you work with those who see things differently, you can use differing perspectives to clarify confusing issues and invent more creative ideas that work. Do that and mental diversity becomes a source of creativity and innovation instead of misunderstanding and conflict.

As project teamwork becomes the norm, people can work more synergistic to create innovative ideas that work.

   Customizing The Brain Game…

We custom design each presentation to meet the your specific goals for bringing people together. We can even print special game cards with your group or company logo on them. After the seminar people can take the cards they selected as a reminder of your meeting or conference and what they learned there.

The Brain Game Seminar also makes a great breakout session for large conferences.
